The Sun is currently in Gate 7, the Gate of the Role of the Self in Interaction. Located in the G Center and part of the Collective Understanding (Logic) Circuit with the keynote of Sharing, Gate 7 represents the capacity to guide the collective toward a future direction. This is not leadership from the front, but the “power behind the throne” — the ability to shape, adjust, or redirect a path through influence. Gate 7 sees when the present course needs correction, and when transiting, it can bring a surge in the desire to take charge, establish systems, and organize efforts toward a better outcome. Yet, this energy works best when it is recognized and invited, ensuring that direction is aligned with the needs of the whole, not just personal preference.

Grounding this energy is the Earth in Gate 13, the Gate of the Listener. Also in the G Center, Gate 13 belongs to the Collective Abstract (Sensing) Circuit with the keynote of Sharing. Here we find the capacity to listen deeply, remember, and hold the stories, challenges, and triumphs of others until the right time comes to share them. This is the keeper of collective memory, the one who understands that the past informs the future. When active, this Gate can draw others to confide in you, entrusting their experiences and secrets. The challenge is to discern what is meant to be held in confidence and what is ready to be voiced for the benefit of the collective.

Together, these Gates create a polarity between direction and remembrance—between setting a course for the future and holding the wisdom of the past. The conditioning of this week may highlight how strong leadership is rooted in a deep understanding of where we’ve been, not just where we want to go.
